PopShop + vitaminwater Uncapped!

Exciting news! For September, PopShop is taking it to the streets (okay, technically it's a venue ON Main Street) where we'll be a part of the huge, 7-day vitaminwater Uncapped Live event in Cincinnati!

On Tuesday September 20th from 6-10pm, we'll be taking over part of the Hanke Building (1128 Main Street) with a fantastic selection of stylish, crafty wares for Show Us Your Glow! In the former club space currently being painted by Higher Level Art, fierce models will stomp down the runway in a fashion show featuring local designers and styles inspired by vitaminwater zero. You can also expect plenty of great music, games, a beer bar, and plenty of free vitaminwater--all leading up to the madness of MidPoint Music Festival.

August PopShop Pictures!

We're never exactly sure what to expect when we set up in a new space for Final Friday PopShop, and August's event was no exception. After some cleaning and decorating, we got our vendors set up, turned up the music, and went for it!

There were a lot of yummy goodies in addition to the crafty goods this time around--homemade salted caramels, birthday cake fudge, and fried candy bars for those with a serious sweet tooth (me!); and delicious hot metts and stuffed burgers from Stuffed on Vine for everyone who was really hungry (um...also me).

We had plenty of foot traffic from the (conveniently located) Woodward parking lot, and spread our posters and pink balloons up and down Main & Woodward to attract guests. It took a while to figure out how to turn on the building's outside lights once it got dark (something about a switch box in the courtyard?), but overall it was a success!

Final Friday PopShop is back and better than ever!

A cool pop-up shop for creative types, Final Friday PopShop will feature a mash-up of crafty objets d’art , fashion, accessories, home goods, and vintage clothing by a selection of local sellers, right in the heart of OTR!

This time, we're at 207 Woodward Rd (just a few steps from the corner of Woodward and Main) from 6-10pm with 15 creative and crafty vendors + lots of yummy snacks for sale!

Stop by to shop, snack, listen to music, and have fun!

Yes, we finally found a spot! The August 26th Final Friday PopShop will be held at 207 Woodward Street, just a few steps from the intersection of Woodward and Main.

The building itself has pink doors and pastel fish and birds painted on the front (talk about putting a bird on it!), and the indoor space is simple and clean, with hardwood floors and white walls.

IMPORTANT: June's PopShop will be at 1317 Main Street

Okay folks, we're moving! Instead of setting up at 1200 Main Street this month, we've had to move the June Final Friday PopShop further north to 1317 Main Street, at the old OTR Foundation headquarters.

While 1200 Main Street is at a great corner location, the space currently does not have permanent lighting fixtures and would require more time and attention than we have at this point. Thankfully, Alaina from Urban Sites came to our rescue and was able to help us secure the space at 1317 Main Street! It's a great spot with hardwood floors, artfully painted walls & ceilings, and it's in a prime location between Couture Couture and You Do Yoga.

We're so excited to be in this space! Hope to see you there Friday, June 24th from 6-10!

June 24th PopShop!

We (finally) found a space! June's PopShop will take place from 6-10pm on Friday, June 24th at ~~1200 Main Street, right next door to Park + Vine~~ 1317 Main Street in the old OTR Foundation headquarters. We've never used this space before, ~~but it was once used for a Swap Shop,~~ so we're excited to see what we can do with it!

On May 27th, we'll be back in the space at 1301 Main Street from 5-10pm.
It's difficult to find an empty store front on Main Street these days! Of course that's great for the street and OTR, but it makes finding a space for PopShop a liiittle difficult.

April PopShop fun!

Last weekend, 10 vendors set up shop at 1435 Main Street for April's Final Friday PopShop!

DJ Jordan spinnin' on the ones and twos Friday night...

The shoppers had a wonderful time...

There was fun with bubbles and blond wigs (don't ask)...

...and of course, there was cool merchandise for sale.

For April, we're transforming this innocent, sturdy space at 1435 Main Street (next to ForkHeartKnife) into an aesthetically pleasing orgy of creative expression. We have an additional 200 square feet or so to play with compared to last month, so you know it'll be extrasupercrazyhappy fun!

Stop by Friday April 29th from 5-10 and Saturday April 30th from 11am - 4pm and join in...you know you want to!
