August PopShop Pictures!

We're never exactly sure what to expect when we set up in a new space for Final Friday PopShop, and August's event was no exception. After some cleaning and decorating, we got our vendors set up, turned up the music, and went for it!

 

 There were a lot of yummy goodies in addition to the crafty goods this time around--homemade salted caramels, birthday cake fudge, and fried candy bars for those with a serious sweet tooth (me!); and delicious hot metts and stuffed burgers from Stuffed on Vine for everyone who was really hungry (um...also me).

We had plenty of foot traffic from the (conveniently located) Woodward parking lot, and spread our posters and pink balloons up and down Main & Woodward to attract guests. It took a while to figure out how to turn on the building's outside lights once it got dark (something about a switch box in the courtyard?), but overall it was a success!

PopShop Is This Friday!

Final Friday PopShop is back and better than ever!

A cool pop-up shop for creative types, Final Friday PopShop will feature a mash-up of crafty objets d’art , fashion, accessories, home goods, and vintage clothing by a selection of local sellers, right in the heart of OTR!

This time, we're at 207 Woodward Rd (just a few steps from the corner of Woodward and Main) from 6-10pm with 15 creative and crafty vendors + lots of yummy snacks for sale!

Stop by to shop, snack, listen to music, and have fun!

Yes, we finally found a spot! The August 26th Final Friday PopShop will be held at 207 Woodward Street, just a few steps from the intersection of Woodward and Main.

 

The building itself has pink doors and pastel fish and birds painted on the front (talk about putting a bird on it!), and the indoor space is simple and clean, with hardwood floors and white walls.
